The whole point of post #2 is to use what's there in the car wiring, power, relays and engine computer to run the fuel test as if it were going to run the engine. I'll repeat it again simply turn the ignition key to the ON/RUN position and listen for the faint hum/hiss of the fuel pump running for 2-3 seconds before the engine computer shuts it off.
The engine computer runs the fuel pump for only 2-3 seconds then shuts off the fuel pump, period.
The fuel pump does not stay running with the ignition ON. Once you accept this you can move on otherwise you will be struggling to accept other instructions to follow.
